When Christ asks you to die to yourself, He is asking you to allow Him to re-create you into something new and wonderful. It's like the outer shell that covers a seed. As long as that shell is in place, the seed will never grow. The shell has to die for that seed to produce a harvest. Your outer shell has to die for you to be fruitful. Once we give up what we want and begin living for Christ, we will begin to experience the peace, joy, and happiness that God has in store for us. Friend, you will never know what real living is until you. Hope you visit with u let go of your outer shell! True happiness and true fulfillment come when we give our lives away, because when we do that God is prepared to flood your heart with His goodness.
